NO, you are concealing a deadly weapon. California doesn’t look to kindly of people who do this; it’s a felony.
actually, im not too sure about the above post. as long as the knife has a sheath, the knife is contained in the sheath (while on your person) as it was designed to be, and the sheath/knife combination is being worn as it was designed/intended (in the boot and secured around the ankle area), it should be ok.
